The first repechage place is actually determined by a contest between the runners-up from the Africa and Europe. The second repechage position is then determined between the runners-up from the Asia and Oceania qualifiers at a particular stage.

Of all the teams that have managed to won, mention may be made of South Africa, Australia, England, England and New Zealand. While South Africa appeared for about four times, they won twice and the win rate was 50 percent. All the rest of the countries appeared for six times. Australia won twice and had the win rate of 33 percent. England won once and the win rate was 17 percent.
